This has been the pattern of human beings since we became the only predator just below the true apex predator.

Mother nature!!

Now we are fighting for our lives

Before something as invisible as a superbug.

Starts the beginning of the next cycle of life.

Consumerism’s path

Is clear from our first footsteps out of Africa.

We used to call this survival of the fittest.

Because only the strongest would survive the walk to new and greener lands.

Now we call it Migration,

And the journey is based on personal wealth and the willingness

To take more and more than nature has to give.

But has this single purpose

Changed since our first steps out of Africa?

Each ancient civilisation had a common sequence of events.

Used by Mother Nature to remove an imbalance from the circle of life.

We started to stay

In the same place, transporting

The resources back to the point of origin.

Instead of walking to find more resources.

We take a minute/hour/day/year to change the course of the essence of life.

Only to replenish where we want.

We choose which plants will grow when and where?

Not based on a balance of all life

But on our need for increased production.
